I’m a Reader (Associate Professor) in the Department of International Politics at City St Georges, University of London.
My research interests are international organizations (in particular, decision-making, resourcing, and inequalities in international bureaucracies), international security (including the Russian invasion of Ukraine), and peace operations.
I sit on the Editorial Boards of International Peacekeeping and Global Governance.
In the autumn term of 2026-2027, I am based at Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence at the University of Bayreuth.
In 2027-2028, I will pursue Leverhulme-funded research project ‘Legitimising Foreign-Backed Rule: Local Intermediaries in Ukraine and DR Congo’.
